Modo The Car Co-op - carsharing in Metro Vancouver

Founded almost 15 years ago, Modo is the first English-speaking carsharing organization in the world, and has helped carsharing start up on four continents. As an established leader in Metro Vancouver, we've worked with various stakeholders in both public and private sectors to make carsharing a smart and sustainable transportation choice.

We provide carsharing in six municipalities: North Vancouver, UBC, Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, and Surrey. We're meeting the sustainable transportation needs of thousands of members with a variety of vehicles.

how does modo carsharing work?

• Book a car online for a few hours or a few days
• Pick up the car at its permanent parking spot
• See clients or run errands
• Return the car to the same spot
• Get billed once a month, only being charged a small admin fee and for the hours and kilometers (we pay for gas, insurance, and maintenance)
